Do any of these sound familiar?

  • You enjoy running but it leaves you exhausted instead of brimming with energy
  • Your body doesn’t feel like it used to and you want to reclaim your youthful fitness
  • You want to build muscle AND get fit so you can be the best possible parent you can
  • You get nagging injuries and pain in your feet, ankles, shins, knees, or hips that gets worse with every run
  • You’ve tried to run in the past but could never make your routine stick… especially as you got busier with kids and work

If so, I want you to imagine this:

You wake up, and you’re no longer overweight or unfit. You don’t have any aches or pains, and you look forward to working out. You have energy. You love who you see in the mirror. How does that feel?

You go for a run, and it’s easy. Your breathing feels relaxed, and your feet land perfectly. Everything feels smooth. What would you see on your run? How would your footsteps sound?

What if you were no longer worried about your health? You weren’t stressed about going to the doctor?

You can run a 5K (or more) every day. You’ve run marathons. And you have the energy to keep up with your kids. Somehow, on top of it all, you’re more productive at work. How would that feel?

Let me show you how Running OS can get you there.

Me in 2015
Me in 2023

8 years ago I was a 35-year-old overweight Dad eating and drinking my way to an early death.

I had completely lost control of my health and fitness. I was stressed out and busy with work all the time. My go-to coping mechanisms were junk food, booze, and Netflix binges.

But I had two young kids at home and I knew I was being a bad example for them.

When they wanted to play and do activities I couldn’t keep up. I felt like a failure.

I knew I had to get healthy or else I wouldn’t be around to see my kids grow up, and nothing terrified me more. I wanted to be there for my kids and be the best Dad possible.

I tried to get fit before but it never really worked. I dreamed of running marathons but every time I began to build a running routine I’d start with a big burst of energy but I’d always get hurt or burn out, ending up right back on the couch. My fitness motivation was dwindling while my waistline was expanding. It was depressing as hell.

But a few years ago I finally found what was missing. I realized I was always training too hard, following fitness advice that didn’t really make sense for me. I was consuming cookie-cutter bro advice from 18-year-olds online.

So instead I started to change my program by polarizing my running (mostly slow, some fast) and targeting my strength training. I started to notice that I wasn’t getting hurt or having any pain. I was really enjoying myself!

By following this system I’ve been able to go from constantly being injured to achieving some insane results:

  • 10,000 miles
  • 7 ultramarathons
  • 100-mile race finisher

I look and feel better than when I was in my 20s. But I knew I wasn’t the only one on the verge of giving up on their running and fitness goals.

So I started coaching other runners and have seen my clients go from not running at all to crushing marathons.

But I realized I could only help a few people at a time and through both coaching and social media the same questions and problems were coming up over and over.

Runners who suffered from the same injuries, made the same mistakes, and couldn’t run consistently for more than a few weeks. But who dreamed of running their first 5K, half marathon, or marathon. Parents who wanted to become the runner they were meant to be, so they could keep up with and be a great example for their kids.
